Every year around Christmas time I open my studio and have a wonderful shoot in memory of my sister.

My sister Ann Henry passed away a few years ago.  Ann worked at the Downs Syndrome Research Foundation. Something that was very dear to her heart after Larissa, her daughter, came into her life. Ann and I, at Christmas, every year, would have a special shoot. All our fun kids together, every year, for donations to the DSRF.

I am now Larissas mom and I still do our shoot. Now in memory of Ann. Usually with tears, but with joy, and now for donations to Semiahmoo House, where Larissa loves to hang out with her friends.

I welcome all moms with kids that might need a little extra time, or might feel uncomfortable in a regular studio to give me a call around Christmas time.

Christmas booking begins to get busy around October. To ensure to have your portaits in time for Chistmas gifts, please book early.

One of my passions in life is working with Semiahmoo House. I teach a photography course to some very talented individuals there, and this past summer they were hired as the official photographers of the White Rock Sea Festival!
